María Fernanda Vázquez Flores, a MSc student from the Instituto de Biología in UNAM, is joining us for a 3-month stay at MNCM. She is interested in systematics, marine invertebrates and spatial analysis so the aim of her MSc work is to assess and quantify the knowledge on mexican marine invertebrates available at data from open-access repositories, seeking to identify gaps and biases within these data. She is supervised by Angela Cuervo Robayo, Enrique Martínez Meyer and Nuno Simões and here she will work with assessing the levels of survey completeness across the mexican marine territory.

You can contact María Fernanda by email.
